The Shanghai Soup Dumpling Index 2017 Poster

Over the course of 2014, I went to 52 soup dumpling restaurants in Shanghai to create the Shanghai Soup Dumpling Index with designer Ailadi Cortelletti in 2015. In 2017, I spent a 48-hour period going to 21 restaurants, old and new, in order to update the index. This one-sided poster distills the information and serves it up as a clean infographic. Compared to the full 2015 Index, this poster does not contain all of the scientific explanations and details about shops -- the idea is that this information is now included in a A Guide To Soup Dumplings In Shanghai, and that combined with the poster, the two represent a complete set, of both infographic and text, objective and subjective, something to look at and something to read.
